Intro to Entrepreneurship Training Program

This 1-day introductory session in innovation and entrepreneurship will introduce participants to the concepts and principles of Lean Startup, Business Model components, Customer Development, and Evidence-based Entrepreneurship. The class will be suited for a wide range of students and researchers with an interest in learning more about technology commercialization and entrepreneurial opportunities at OIST and beyond.

This public speaking seminar covers the crucial elements of any oral engagement. Topics include: finding common ground, sharing personal connection, focusing the central theme, painting vivid examples, and posing baby steps forward. For the OIST community, there will be examples from science, administration, and policy. Finally, the seminar poses ways to keep repetitive information fresh and interesting for everyone involved.
