Postdoc positions in spin-based quantum technology

The Hybrid Quantum Device team in the Quantum Dynamics Unit seeks a couple of postdocs to help develop a quantum microwave-optical photon transducer with spins in diamond or an ultra-low noise maser amplifier based on spins in gem crystals.

Unit's second PhD student defended his thesis

Congratulations to Jiabao for defending his thesis entitled "Coherent control of charged particle systems with microwave photons" in front of two tough theoreticians! On the photo (left to right): Prof. Thomas Busch (co-superviser), Prof. Valeriy Shikin (1st extrernal examiner), Jiabao Chen, Prof. Jian-Qiang You (2nd extrenal examiner), Prof. Denis Konstantinov (superviser).

Unit's first PhD student graduated

Four years of hard work on "Transport properties of strongly-correlated 2D electrons confined in microchannels" has come to end. Congratulations Jui-Yin!
