Fall 2023 Lean Startup Entrepreneurial Training Program

Date/Time: This course consists of 5 sessions.

Sep 8 (Fri) 17:30-19:30  *The first 3 sessions are in-person.

Sep 9 (Sat) 10:00-17:00

Sep 10 (Sun) 10:00-17:00

Sep 21 (Thu) 9:00-12:00: Mid-check-in (Zoom)

Oct 5 (Thu) 9:00-12:00: Final presentation (Zoom)

Learn how to identify commercial opportunities that can emerge from academic research by working on a real technology development case. In this program, participants will use, as case studies, technologies developed at OIST and will apply skills learned in the course to identify potential customers of the technology.

Instructor is part of the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Innovation-Corps Program. (The I-Corps Program is a U.S. national effort to provide mentors and funding to university researchers to develop technologies that benefit society.)
