The Center of Innovative Drug Discovery and Development (iD3) was established in May 2013 within National Institute of Biomedical Innovation (NIBIO) as the headquarters of Drug Discovery Support Network (DDSN).  The mission of DDSN is to promote drug discovery research and put outstanding life science research results in academia into practical use as innovative new drugs through collaboration among academic research institutes including RIKEN, AIST, and NIBIO.  In this seminar, Dr. Yoichi Kurebayashi, the vice president of NIBIO and director of iD3, will explain how DDSN will support translation of basic research into drug discovery and development in Japan.
