【Talk Contents】
She has recently started her project and for now, it includes studying CD8+ T cell exhaustion. CD8+ T cells are critical in combat against chronic infection and cancer. And when CD8+ T cells are exposed to continuous antigen stimulation or inflammatory factors, they start to lose their T cell function, and this state is called “exhaustion”. Her long-term goal is to study and elucidate critical factors in the regulation of CD8+ T cell exhaustion.
