Exhibition of the Okinawan Textiles and Bingata by Japan Brand Development Project

Come and see the fantastic Okiawan textiles and Bingata!  Japan Brand Development Project by Okinawan traditional weavers and Bingata artisans will going to display five types of traditional textiles and Bingata.  They will also show how to make different shades of colors by displaying the dyes and threads they use.  You can actually touch to feel and take a close look of the fabrics.

沖縄が誇る織物と紅型をご覧ください！JAPANブランド育成支援事業の一環として、沖縄の織物・紅型職人による展示会を開催します。実際に使用されている染料と絹糸も展示し、温度や触媒の違いによって同じ染料がどのような色に変わるのかについてもご説明します。展示作品のほとんどは実際に触わることができますので、直接その感触や繊細さをご覧いただけます。
