Description
The Innovators Society is gathering with the 4th installment of the startup workshop series, with speaker Mr. Eli Lyons, Co-founder/CEO of GenomeMiner, and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at OIST.
Workshop 4: ‘Early-stage Recruiting and Compensation - Both Sides’
Are you being approached by startups to provide technical consultation? OR Are you planning to launch startups in the future? If you are, you might be wondering how new people are recruited to join startups.
Startups don't have a Human Resources Department or other resources to manage the hiring process. Therefore, founders and potential hires should execute this process with careful consideration. While this challenge does not have a generalizable solution, in this workshop, Eli will share some frameworks, considerations, and philosophies, which can be used as tools for people on both sides of the table when navigating the recruiting process at early-stage startups.
The target audience for this workshop is any OIST member who is considering joining a startup or founding one themselves.
Date: Thursday, May 12th
Time: 16:00-17:00
