Japan’s Future – Science-Based Innovation

The next decades will see the greatest changes that society has experienced in the history of humanity. These changes will largely be driven by developments in science and technology. The OIST forum “Japan’s Future – Science-Based Innovation” brings together experts from Industry, Education, and Government to discuss how innovation can be generated, how it can be governed and above all how we can train today’s young people to be the innovators of the future. 

Participate in this important forum which features keynote speeches from leading Japanese and international experts.

Industry
Japan’s economic strength relies on its ability to innovate and lead. What must industry do to promote innovation?

Education
Are we giving young people the correct skills to allow them to be innovators and leaders in a rapidly changing, global society?

Government
What steps must government take to encourage constant innovation and how can change be effectively legislated?

Language: Japanese and English with simultaneous interpretation.
