Web of Science Seminar on Jan. 16

The library is hosting Web of Science Seminar for all OIST staff and students on January 16, 2018.
We will invite an expert of Web of Science from Clarivate Analytics (formaer Thomson Reuters). The seminar will highlight the content as well as the features and tools of Web of Science to reveal citation connections and support research discoveries and publication.
There are two courses for Beginner and Intermediate, and you may choose to attend one or both courses.

Web of Science 101
Finding "the must read article" by searching the citation indexed database: Web of Science.
Method of searching articles using Web of Science will be thoroughly presented including the searches only avalible by Web of Science.

Intermediate:
Web of Science 201
1) How and when to use the analysis functions
2) literature management using Endnote Online
Analytical functions embedded in the Web of Science will be presented. One of the example is how to analysis searched articles and what to extract from the analysis. How to manage documents (articles, reviews etc) using Endnote Online seamlessly with Web of Science will be another topic in this intermediate course.
