Do you start preparing for a presentation by creating your slides first or your script first? Join us to find out why you should start with a script and how to go about doing it.

In this seminar we will discuss

•Whether using words like - activities, operations, parameters is appropriate.
•Whether using generic quantities (e.g. A few, some, a number of) is okay.
•The advantages of writing a script
•How to mark up a script
•Tense usage for
•Outlining your presentation
•Explaining the background of your research
•Situations that have ended
•What you did in your research
•The progress of your presentation
•Explaining results
•Giving conclusions
 

The handout will be attached closer to the date. Please print the handout attached to this event on  Novermber 12th and bring it to class.
