Join OIST members in a relaxing Fluid Ink Art Session taught by Oksana Burduzhan (okiart777).
Date: Sunday, July 24th.
Time: 4:00-5:30pm
Location: Ocean View Room
Target audience: Everyone is welcome. The session is limited to 6 people only.
Learn the basics of popular Alcohol ink fluid painting technique by creating your own piece of artwork with Oksana. During the session you will enjoy coloring a tile using a hairdryer only. It is a fun and relaxing way to paint and create art with no prior experience required.
Description of the session:
- Introduction of alcohol ink art and technique with a following presentation on a tile.
- Discussion individually drafts of your ideas.
- Identification of your favorite ordinary colors. Practice time by moving your colors along on a tile.
- Varnish of the tile for every participant.
Cost for Materials: 2 500 Yen per person. Sign up your friend to the session and get discount 1000 yen off the total price.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to OIST Foundation (Ukraine Scholar & Students Support Fund).
Tool to bring: your hairdryer only. Yes you’re right you will be drawing with a wind flow from the hairdryer. No brushes are needed.
