Overview
The Magnet Lab, initiated in Jan 2014, houses a 17T superconducting DC magnet capable of non-linear optical experiments due to its unique design. A soon to be arriving a high rep. rate, high power ultrafast laser system will allow the study of femtosecond dynamics and nonlinear optical properties of materials in the high magnetic field.
