C and C++ for scientific computing

Date

Wednesday, January 18, 2017 - 13:00 to 15:00

Location

Room C700

Description

We are holding a pilot training session on programming C and C++ for scientific computing. We assume that you are familiar with programming in some other language, and that you want to start writing your own C/C++ code; adapt a program for your own use; or contribute to an existing project. We will give you a concise introduction that will help you quickly get up to speed and learn more on your own.

The session will be partly interactive, so please bring a laptop. Also, we will use the Tombo cluster for the practical moments, so make sure beforehand that you have access.
