Learning Objective(s)
As a result of participating in this session, learners will be able to:
- Learn about the specific species of sea turtle in Okinawa.
- Learn about the threats these specific sea turtles face and what we as community can do to ensure their survival.
Goal: Obtain Science-Minded Volunteers to assist in patrolling Onna Beaches to record data and share data on nesting activity. This will help Chura Mura protect the nests and the babies.
Health Benefit: Walking on the beach and participating in something meaningful to Okinawa.
