Learning Objective(s)
As a result of participating in this session, learners will be able to: 

  1. Learn about the specific species of sea turtle in Okinawa.
  2. Learn about the threats these specific sea turtles face and what we as community can do to ensure their survival.

Goal: Obtain Science-Minded Volunteers to assist in patrolling Onna Beaches to record data and share data on nesting activity. This will help Chura Mura protect the nests and the babies.

Health Benefit: Walking on the beach and participating in something meaningful to Okinawa.

  • Please utilize hand sanitizer when entering and leaving.
