TSVP Team
The TSVP is mainly handled by the below team, however, we frequently get support from other members of the Faculty Affairs Office (FAO). If you have questions about the program or the application process please contact us via email: tsvp [at] oist.jp.
Dr. Jonas Fischer, Academic Coordinator for Visiting Programs
Jonas Fischer got a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Augsburg in Germany (Alois Loidl Group) in 2018. After a Postdoc in the Tsuyoshi Kimura group at the University of Tokyo, he decided in 2020 to become a Program Coordinator at the Tohoku Forum for Creativity, an international visitor research center at Tohoku University in Sendai.
Since April 2022 he works as Academic Coordinator in charge of Visiting Programs at the Faculty Affairs Office at OIST.

Access
The TSVP is managed by the Faculty Affairs Office (FAO). We are located at Lab 4, Floor E. Lab 4 is the blue/green building on top of the hill. Offices for the TSVP visitors are also located in Lab 4, Floor E. From April 2023 the TSVP will have dedicated space in Lab 5 (currently under construction).
