Community Cooking Series

Description

The Community Cooking Series aims to bring the OIST community and residents of Onna closer through a shared love of food. Each session will be focused on one dish, taught by someone with a personal connection to the recipe (perhaps you?).

Half the students will be from OIST, and half from Onna. Written recipes will be provided in both English and Japanese, and the instructor will guide the class through the cooking process.

A registration fee will be collected to cover the cost of ingredients. A portion of the fee will be used to buy food donations for Onna Village Council of Social Welfare. The amount spent on the donations will be documented and the itemized list will be available below.

Fee for OIST community members: 1200 JPY

Fee for non-OIST Onna residents: 800 JPY

コミュニティー・クッキング・シリーズは、OISTコミュニティーと恩納村在住の方々が、”食”を通して交流を深めることを目的としています。毎回１つの料理に絞り、そのレシピに思い入れのある方が講師を務めます。（あなたが講師になるかも？）

参加者は、OIST関係者と恩納村の住民を予定しています。レシピは日本語・英語どちらも用意しており、講師が調理方法を指導します。

クラスで使用する食材の購入費として参加費を徴収します。また参加費の一部は、恩納村社会福祉協議会へ寄付致します。その寄付金に充てた金額はこちらで記録し、その詳細は下記で確認できます。

OISTコミュニティーの皆様の参加料金:1,200円

OIST以外の恩納村在住の皆様の参加料金:800円
