New e-learning courses for security and research data management(as of 07/26/2024)

We are pleased to announce that new security (Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean) and research data management (currently only Japanese) courses are available in LMS (Learning Management System) .

LMS (Learning Management System) is a learning management system for taking e-learning materials and managing learning status.

The NII (National Institute of Informatics) has been officially operating the Gakujutsushin LMS since June 14, 2021, and as of June 17, 2024, more than 100 institutions are using the system.

The features of the accredited LMS are as follows

You can study with common material contents.
       ◆Information Security Course
            Basic security knowledge can be learned in four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean).
               •Rinriki's Information Security Class
       ◆Research Data Management Course
           Various courses (for researchers, for supporters, etc.) are offered on research data management to promote open science.
             •Research Data Management for Researchers [2022 Edition]
             •Design and Practice of Research Data Management Services [FY2022 Edition]. etc.
   ●　Optional functions linked to the Academic Certification Federation (GakuNin) are provided for institutional administrators.
   ●　Educational materials created by the user institution can be registered and made available to the institution only         (selectable, e.g., for your institution only, shared by multiple institutions, etc.).
   ●　Video materials using synthesized audio can be easily created.
   ●　By consolidating teaching materials, costs such as administrator's time and effort can be reduced.
   ●　Curriculum can be organized by combining teaching materials to enable systematic human resource development.
