Description
Having trouble turning your research data and conclusions into a publishable manuscript? “Publish or Perish” may not seem like the most attractive pair of options, but the former can actually be less painful, even if it does not seem so at first. Steve Aird, OIST's Technical Editor, will explain techniques for writing scientific manuscripts. Steve’s talk focuses on principles and procedures that will enable you to turn research data into a well composed scientific narrative.
By following the techniques outlined in the session, your manuscripts will become clearer and more concise, and hopefully, more readily accepted by your journal of choice. Even experienced writers may glean some useful tips.
Please join Steven for this first session on better scientific writing. Click this link to register for the session.
