Introduction to HPC and Scientific Computing
At OIST we provide high-performance cluster computers for your scientific computing. In this two-day training session we will show you how to make best use of the HPC resources at OIST. You don't need any previous experience.
In the first session, we show how computing clusters are organized and introduce the fundamental concepts of parallel computing. In the second hands-on session we will learn how to log in, how to use the command line, then learn to run jobs on the OIST clusters.

Thursday January 22 between 13:00-15:00, in room C700 (Lab 3) or on Zoom.
Also, on Wednesday January 21 13:00-15:00 we will have the Introduction to the command line!
There is no registration. Make sure to bring a laptop.
