Date

Tuesday, January 23, 2018 - 13:00 to 15:00

Location

Room C700

Description

At OIST we provide high-performance computers and storage for your scientific computing. We will show you how to make best use of the HPC resources at OIST. You don't need any previous experience. The introduction is split into two sessions on consecutive days.

In the second, fully hands-on, session we will learn how to log in to the clusters and how to transfer data. We'll show how to use the SLURM scheduler and the module system to run jobs on the clusters.

Bring a laptop, and please apply for access to the Tombo and Sango clusters here: User Activation Request
