Cold Atoms Achieved - 8th January 2013

Progress is going well in the lab setup here in OIST.  This week, the shelving above the optical tables was installed allowing the researchers to continue building their experiments, such as the optical tweezers setup and the laser-cooling setup. 

Update:  A Rb MOT was achieved on 8th January 2013 only a few short months after arriving at OIST.  Well done to all concerned!
