Providing aid to Onna Welfare Council: Arranging charity drives to collect essential items (food: rice, pasta, baby items, etc. AND face masks) to be distributed to residents of Onna who have lost their jobs or income as a result in the severe reduction in tourism due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Working with Okinawan NPOs: Arranging drives at OIST as per the current need of the NPOs: HelpOki and Oki Hearts Oki Hands. Specifically, organizing clothing drives to distribute to the NPOs that donate clothes to families in need, or sell clothes and donate all proceeds to orphanages or other children that are struggling economically.Additionally, organizing holiday gift drives to donate to HelpOki. The representatives of HelpOki distribute the gifts annually to children in orphanages all around Okinawa.

Other projects: Sharing information pertaining to socioeconmic development programs at OIST and around Okinawa, crises in Japan and ways we can help, etc.
