Description

Seminar for general audience, about mankind's discovery of magic.
Speaker: Yasha Neiman.
Title: "The spiritual art of Calculus and the union of Heaven and Earth".

I will tell the story of what Newton did: the invention of calculus, the solution of the Kepler problem, the union of Heaven and Earth, the birth of physics, and the moment in which mankind glimpsed the boundless power of math and science.
I will assume familiarity with the idea of a vector, and some basic properties of circles.
Some calculus will be explained and performed, but knowledge of it is not required.
