Description
This is the weekly QG group meeting.
Speaker: Yasha Neiman.
Title: "Self-dual GR in de Sitter space".
I'll talk about my latest paper, on self-dual General Relativity in de Sitter space (plus linearized anti-self-dual perturbations). First, I'll describe how a static-patch scattering problem can be formulated for this sector (this would be much harder for full GR). Second, I'll describe a new scalar ansatz for solutions in the Poincare coordinates, derived from Krasnov's reformulation of GR. This ansatz generalizes Plebanski's "second heavenly equation" to nonzero cosmological constant. Finally, I'll mention a higher-spin generalization of this result, within a limited subsector of self-dual higher-spin gravity.
