Title: Fluxes and Charges in an Expanding Universe

This talk will discuss gravitational fluxes and charges in cosmological backgrounds. The corresponding analysis of gravitational charges in asymptotically locally anti de Sitter spacetimes is well understood, using methods developed in the context of holography. In particular, the holographic charges are finite, with volume divergences removed by appropriate counterterms. Using analytic continuation of these holographic charges, we systematically define finite gravitational fluxes and charges in asymptotically locally de Sitter spacetimes. We identify a conservation law for these fluxes, illustrate this in the context of various examples and explain the physical interpretation.
