Title: On Broken Supersymmetry in String Theory

The seminar will address broken supersymmetry in String Theory from a top-down perspective. After introducing the three 10D non-supersymmetric string models with tachyon-free spectra, I shall draw from the backreaction on their low-energy effective theories some intriguing lessons for Early Cosmology. Finally, I shall address static compactifications of these models and their stability issues.
