2021〜2022年度の新学期登録を受付けています！
2021〜2022年度の登録を受付中です。 新学期に登録するには、3月20日17:00までに新学期の登録用紙と必要契約書類に記入してください。
すべてのご家族が登録用紙と契約書に記入する必要があります。
契約書：アフタースクール（ホリデープログラムを含む）; ホリデープログラムのみ; 送迎サービス
ご家族の情報（緊急連絡先番号、メールアドレス、お子さんの健康状態など）が変更になった場合は、新しい用紙にご記入をお願いします。 用紙はSAPウェブサイトにございます。
SAPサービスに初めて登録される場合は、SAPサイトにアクセスし、ステップごとの手続きをお願いします。
Registration for the new school year FY 2021-2022 is open now!
Registration for FY 2021-2022 is now open. To register for the new school year, please complete the registration form and necessary contracts for the new school year by March 20th at 17:00.
Every family must fill out the registration form and contracts.
Contracts: After school (includes holiday program); Holiday program only; Transportation service
If any of your information has changed (emergency contact number or email, child's medical information, etc), please fill in a new form. You can find the forms on the SAP website.
If this is your first time registering for SAP services, please go to the SAP website and complete the step-by-step process.
工事が始まります！Under Construction!
小中学校プログラムの遊び場は、3月中に待望の改修工事が行われます。 工事期間中は、シーサイドハウスの正面玄関からお子さんの送迎を行ってください。 何卒ご理解とご協力をいただきますようお願いします。
The School Aged Program playground will be undergoing a much-needed renovation during the month of March. During the construction period please use the main Seaside House entrance to pick up and drop off your children. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
今月はSAPの子ども達に世界地図を紹介し、自分の出身地を見つけてピンで留めるよう頼みました。私たちの教室がいかに多様であるか、そしてみんないろいろな文化や背景から来ていることを子ども達に示すのに役立つことを願っています。
子ども達はこの活動をとても楽しみました。 教室に地図があると、好奇心が高まり、探索や視覚的な学習が促進され、多くの話題を作ることができると思います。
This month we introduced the map of the world to SAP children. We asked them to find and pin the places they come from.
We hope it will help us to show them just how diverse our classroom is and that they come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds.
They enjoyed this activity a lot. We think that having the map in our classroom will invite curiosity,
encourage exploration and visual learning, and inspire multitude of topics.
2月のクラブとイベント Clubs and Events in January
お絵描きクラブ Drawing Club
今月のお絵描きエクササイズでは、正方形のグリッドや平行線を何本も書く練習をしました。その後は、子ども達の好きなイラストのトレーシング、模写、色塗りなどをしました。中には、大きな画用紙に自由に絵を描いて、ジャンボ紙飛行機を作った子もいました。
For the drawing warm-up exercise, we practiced drawing square grids and a number of parallel lines. After that the children did tracing, copying, and coloring of their favorite illustrations. One of the children even made a jumbo paper plane from a large piece of paper after drawing on it.
ハンドボール Handball
Once again the children have been able to play handball down on the soccer feild this month. Natasha-sensei and Rachel-sensei have enjoyed taking the children out each week. This month we have seen some new faces and the return of some older children who have been participating in Handball. It has been great to see everyone playing and interacting together.
今月もサッカー場でハンドボールをすることができました。 ナターシャ先生とレイチェル先生は毎週子ども達を連れ出すのを楽しんでいます。 今月は、新しいメンバーや、前から参加していて復帰した年長の子もいました。 みんなが一緒にプレーしたり交流したりするのを見ることができてよかったです。
テニス Tennis
子ども達は、テニスボールを打ちネットの向こう側へ飛ばす練習をしています。また、ラケットを正しく持つ方法も学んでいます。
Our children are practicing gettting the tennis ball over the net. They are learning how to correctly hold a tennis racket.
毎週のサイエンスフライデー Weekly Science Fridays
サイエンスフライデー Science Fridays
SAPの子ども達は、レイ先生とナターシャ先生のお手伝いのもと、ウマ先生が企画するサイエンスフライデーの活動に参加しています。 このような探究主導の実験は、子ども達が批判的思考や問題解決のスキルを身に付けるように設計されています。 お子さんは科学者のように考え、楽しみながらデータを記録しています！ 英語と日本語でのパワーポイントプレゼンテーションや配布資料は、SAPウェブサイトのサイエンスフライデーの欄からご覧ください。
Children at SAP have been involved in the following Science Friday activities created by Uma-sensei, assisted by Rei-sensei and Natasha-sensei. Such inquiry driven experiments are designed to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills in your children. Your children are thinking like scientists, recording data while having FUN! Please check out the Science Friday Section of our website to find all the instructional materials such as Powerpoint presentations and handout in English and Japanese.
原子のモデル Model of an ATOM
子ども達は、全ては原子と呼ばれる小さな粒子でできていることを学びました。 原子は陽子、中性子、電子で構成されています。 モールを使ってヘリウム原子のモデルとポスターを作りました。 ヘリウムは太陽、星、バースデーバルーンの一部であることもお話しました。 若き科学者たちは今、自分の部屋用にカラフルな周期表を持っています！ 彼らは周期表で酸素、鉄、アルミニウム、銅などの元素を特定し、実生活と化学を結び付けました。
Children learned that everything is made up of tiny particles called ATOMS. Atoms is made up of protons, neutrons and electrons. They made a model and a poster of a Helium atom with pipe cleaners. We talked about Helium being part of the sun, stars and the birthday balloons. Our budding scientists now have a colorful periodic table for their rooms! They identified elements such as Oxygen, Iron, Aluminum and Copper on the periodic table to make real life connections with chemistry.
消化器 The Digestive system
ラダ・ニーマンさんは、オーツ麦、コーヒー、牛乳、バナナを使って実験を行いました。 子ども達は、口の中での過程を模倣するため、喜んでこれらの材料をつぶしました。 つぶしたものをボウルに移し、酢を加えました。 そしてそれをチーズクロスに移し、次にストッキングに移し、液体を絞り出しました。 子ども達は出来上がった「うんち」を見て叫び、大笑いしました。
Mrs. Rada Neiman performed an experiment with oats, coffee, milk and bananas. Children smashed these items with joy to mimic the process in their mouth. They moved the mush into a bowl and added some vinegar. They transferred the mush into the cheese cloth and then into the stockings, squeezing away the liquids as they went along. The children screamed and laughed as they saw the product, POOP!
モンスターの歯磨き粉の実験 Monster toothpaste experiment
ウマ先生は、SAPのすべての子ども達を対象に月例の科サイエンスフライデーの実演を行いました。 若き科学者達は、着用するゴーグルを受け取りました。 これが物語の流れです・・パパとママのモンスターは、大きいサイズの歯磨き粉がないため、虫歯で痛む大きな汚れた歯を持っていました。 ウマ先生は痛みを癒すために歯磨き粉を作りました。 子ども達はすべての泡が漏れ出るのを見ました。 彼らは、触媒や発熱反応などの科学用語とともに、過酸化水素の応用を学びました。
Uma sensei performed a monthly science Friday demonstration for all the children at SAP. Our young scientist received a pair of goggles to wear. This is how the story goes..Daddy and Mommy monsters had big dirty teeth that were hurting because they could not find toothpaste of large size. Uma sensei made toothpaste for them to heal the pain. The children watched all the foam ooze out. They learend the application of hydrogen peroxide along with scientific terms such as catalyst and exothermic reaction.
その後、若き科学者達は、安全な濃度の過酸化水素を使って、自分のテーブルで独自の実験を行いました。材料を混ぜ、歯磨き粉がボトルから吹き出るのを見ると部屋全体が興奮と喜びで満たされました！
Our young scientist then performed their own experiment at their stations with hydrogen peroxide of safe concentration. The whole room was filled with excitement and joy as they were mixing the ingredients to see the toothpaste explode out of the bottles!

お子さんの学校が休みの日にホリデープログラムサービスに参加される方は、ホリデープログラムのウェブフォームをご利用いただけます。ホリデープログラムの日に昼食とおやつを注文されたい場合は、前月の20日までにご登録をお願いします。
The holiday program webform is available for families who will to partake in holiday program services during their children's school holidays. Remember to sign up before the 20th of the preceding month if you want to order lunch and snack on holiday program days.

COVID-19対策 COVID-19 Measures Continue
SAPはCOVID-19保護対策を引き続き実施しております。部屋は一日に複数回消毒され、子ども達の定期的な手洗いやマスクの適切な着用を促しています。すべてのSAPスタッフは、隔週でOISTのPCRテストを受けています。保護者の方は、SAPルーム内では常にマスクを着用してください。マスクを着用していない場合は、外での待機をお願いします。皆さんのご協力に感謝いたします。
SAP COVID-19 protection measures remain in place. The room is disinfected multiple times a day, and children are reminded regularly to wash their hands and wear their masks properly. All SAP staff are receiving bi-weekly OIST PCR tests. We continue to ask parents and guardians to wear masks inside the SAP room at all times. Anyone without a mask must remain outside. We appreciate your cooperation.
2月の写真アルバム February Photo Album
屋内や屋外の遊び場で活動しているSAPの子ども達の写真は、2月の写真アルバムをご覧ください。今後の写真やビデオのための空き容量を確保するため、過去のアルバムは定期的に削除してるので、残しておきたいお子さんの写真は保存していただくようお願いします。
For more photos of SAP kids doing activities in the room and in the outdoor play areas, please check out the February photo album. Be sure to save photos of your child that you want to keep because we delete older albums regularly to free space for new photos and videos.
