Menstrual care donation drive
We are working with the local Okinawan NPO, "Hearts for Okinawa" who are dedicated to help single mothers. In this drive, we are collecting menstrual care products, specifically, sanitary pads.
Since two local city halls have requested for 500 packs of sanitary pads, we are aiming to collect at least 200 packs from OIST.
Please help us reach this goal with your donations! Every donation counts!
**If you have any questions, or if you would like to make private donations, please send a direct message to firstname.lastname@example.org, or to our Facebook page**
Thank you for your continued support!
Additionally, if you are curious about period poverty in general, please refer to these news articles (link link2). "About 20% of high school and university students have struggled with purchasing menstrual care products due to their financial issues, and about 3% have used alternative materials instead of menstrual products."
