Food Drive - September 26th-30th, 2022

Food donation needed due to the school closure! 

HelpOki is constantly receiving food requests from all over the island. Once a month, they feed about 150 homeless/low-income individuals at a local park. Their food bank is running low on supplies.

Food donations will be extremely appreciated right now! All donations we collect at OIST will be donated to HelpOki. See below for details of this drive.

Collection Time: September 26-30th (Mon-Fri), 9am - 5pm

Collection points:

• Main tunnel entrance
• Lab 4 entrance
• Recreation services Office

Items most needed:

Please bring “un-opened” items. Expiry date of food items should be November 2022 or later. 

• rice, pasta, dried soba
• spam
• instant noodles
• canned soup
• canned fruits
• canned fish (tuna, mackerel etc)
• any ready-to-eat meals
