Beach Cleanup - South Tancha Beach

In the month of September, different organizations around Okinawa are joining forces to carry out an Okinawa-wide trash pick-up initiative. OIST POWER Club and OIST Beach Clean Clubs are joining this initiative to help clean Tancha Beach. 

We will provide trash bags, gloves and isotonic drinks. Although the event is in the morning, it will still be quite hot. So, please wear comfy clothes and bring plenty of water, sunscreen and beach shoes. Join us to clean the beach together and enjoy a clean beach!

The sign-up sheet will help us estimate the number of volunteers and to coordinate the meet-up details on the day of the event via email.

Date: September 23rd, Saturday

Time: Meet at 10:00 am (we will be there until 12:00 pm. please feel free to stay as long as you can)

Location: South Tancha Beach, at the bottom of the OIST hill, next to Tanchaya Soba (google maps link)
