2nd International Symposium on Open Energy Systems
Date

Description
Updates of the event will be released on the website: https://groups.oist.jp/oes
The symposium wishes to bring together technical experts, government officials and business leaders that are potentially interested to co-develop and deploy Open Energy Systems (OES)*.
The Open Energy Systems (OES) concept is formulated to signify a novel electricity supply and demand control system that assumes open-ended, heterogeneous, fluctuating, and unreliable energy sources. It is a distributed DC grid architecture that can scale from an isolated node to large-scale interconnected systems that may ultimately be connected with the main power grid. OES are expected to embrace the heterogeneous and dynamical nature of renewable energy to mitigate some of the issues.
