The Technology Development and Innovation Center is the technology development and commercialization hub at OIST, leveraging the university's researchers, world-class infrastructure, interdisciplinary environment, and culture of risk-taking to transform technologies from the laboratory into innovations that have social and economic benefit.

Okinawa Environmental Observation Network

OKEON (Okinawa Environmental Observation Network) is a network to monitor the terrestrial environment of Okinawa, involving researchers at OIST, collaborators at various institutions, museums and high schools across Okinawa, and the local community.
