Give directly to OIST
Corporations can make a charitable contribution to any of the OIST funds or programs and receive tax deduction for the donation.

How to make a donation
Please download the donation application form below, fill it out, and affix the company's official seal, and send it to the donation section of the President's Office. If you are unable to download the form, please email donation@oist.jp to request the donation form.

After receiving the the donation application form, OIST will send you a bank transfer request form. A receipt will be mailed to you after confirming the donation transfer.
2. Recipient-Designated Donation System
The recipient-designated donation system through the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan (PMAC) is a system whereby corporations and other legal entities can contribute to the development of education and research by designating their donations to specific private school corporations through PMAC. Donors are entitled to preferential tax treatment – full amount deductible. Donation proposals are subject to approval by PMAC. If you wish to donate through this system, please contact us at least two months before the end of the fiscal year.
Support marine and environmental projects at OIST through Onna Village’s Furusato Nozei Corporate Program
Through marine science research and environmental projects, OIST aims to support our home town to realize a comprehensive strategy for the town, people, and sustainable development of Onna Village. Companies can donate to related projects covered by Onna Village's Furusato Nozei (hometown tax) corporate program.
