Round Table “Grants and Careers”

Majority of OIST researchers would like to develop and pursue successful careers in academia.  This month, we will have two informal sessions focusing on the following two themes and exploring how they relate to this commonly shared aspiration.

1. Why do you keep applying for grants? (and what will happen if you do not?)
2. What are your goals?

Successful grant holders from within the OIST community will share with you the reasons why they continue applying for grants. These will be informal, round-table session. No PPT presentation will be prepared or provided. Speakers will be ready to answer your questions and discuss your concerns. Please attend and share your opinions with us.

Sessions will be held in Japanese and English as follows.
