Abstract
The experimental realization of Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) in laser-cooled atomic gases in 1995 opened up an exciting field of research on new superfluid phases of matter. The experimental advances in the decades since then have made it possible to study the dynamics of these superfluid gases in different regimes. In this talk, I will review theoretical developments, focusing on the dynamics of superfluid gases at finite temperatures, such as collective excitations, solitons, quantized vortices, etc.
Looking forward to seeing many of you at the seminar.
