Title: "Scattering amplitudes for entangled states"

For almost 75 years, the general solution for the Schrödinger equation was assumed to be generated by a time-ordered exponential known as the Dyson series. We study the unitarity of this solution in the case of non-self-adjoint Hamiltonians, and show that additional care is demanded even if they are Hermitian. Then, a new interpretation for the Schrödinger equation is motivated for which the corresponding solution is manifestly unitary, regardless of the choice of the Hamiltonian. Based on our novel approach we show how to compute scattering amplitudes for partially off-shell (/entangled) states.
