Science Speed Dating
Once again, we are putting on a Science Speed Dating event! Romance isn’t the goal here – instead, this event provides OIST students and researchers the opportunity to reach out and meet their fellow scientists on campus, and find out about what everyone else is up to in our labs. It’s a great opportunity to exchange research ideas, build foundations for collaboration as well as get some practice for networking out in the wider world.
The rules are just like speed dating: you have 2 minutes to introduce each other your topic of research, after which you will switch to a new partner. After everyone has met each other, there will be a free discussion.
Preregistration recommended using the online form
This is a BYOB event. Basic catering will be provided but bring your own beverage.
