Venue: C016 Level C, Lab 1

Speaker: Dr. Shinsuke Sando, Professor at Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, The University of Tokyo
Title: Molecular Technologies to Analyze and Control Dynamic Cellular Function.

Abstract: We have taken a challenge to design state-of-the-art molecular technologies to analyze and control dynamic cellular functions. Here in this talk, I will introduce two of our recent researches. One is hypersensitive MRI chemical agents to analyze cellular metabolism in a real-time manner, and the other is chemical tools that mimic or surpass the function of natural growth factors to control cellular functions.
