Assistant Professor at Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, the University of Tokyo since 2011. Associate Professor at Department of Biological Sciences, the University of Tokyo since 2014. Currently the Vice President of Japanese Society for Bioinformatics, a Board Member of International Society for Computational Biology, Councilor of Japanese Society of Microbial Ecology, Associate Member of Science Council of Japan, and Member of Global Young Academy. Major in bioinformatics, especially areas related to genomics, evolution, ecology, and ethology.
