Society for Neurodiversity Meeting

Date

Location

L3 B700

Description

All OIST community is invited for one more meeting of the Society for Neurodiversity.

What is the benefit of coming to the meetings?

In this club, we offer a safe space, free of judgment where neurodivergent individuals can talk (or not) about their experience at OIST/Japan. We can also offer the accumulated experience of the club on how to obtain psychiatric care from the Japanese Health care system, including free/discounted medication for people in continuous psychiatric treatment. The accumulated experience also includes resources at OIST/Okinawa.

You are not required to speak, socialize, or sit close to anyone during the meeting. We will also be mindful to maintain a low level of sensory input in the environment. This will be done by keeping low and indirect lightning, decreased level of sounds, and smells.

Hope to see you all there!
