Abstract

In the talk I will present two ways of improving quantum critical metrology. First relies on combination of conventional metrology protocols, like Ramsey interferometry, with critical metrology protocols. Second relies on showing how finite temperature can be, in principle, used to increase the quantum Fisher information and the sensitivity of estimating physical parameters.
