Hybrid Integration of Single Photon Emitters
Abstract:
Integration of single photon sources based on solid-state emitters, like quantum dots, molecules or defect centers in diamond, is a very demanding task. Here, we introduce different hybrid approaches to integrate defect centres in nanodiamonds into other photonic structures. One approach shown makes use of nanomanipulation techniques and another approach uses laser-written photonic structures. A variety and photonic structures can be built using hzbrid approches, of which some are introduced in this presentation, e.g., a directly fibre integrated single photon source or a photonic chip which contains not only resonators and waveguides, but also single photon emitters.
