Title: Existence theorem of Brakke's mean curvature flow

Speaker: Prof. Yoshihiro Tonegawa (Tokyo Institute of Technology)

Abstract: I discuss some existence results of mean curvature flow of very general type, where the flow can potentially have various singularities such as triple junctions, and which is naturally described using notions from geometric measure theory. I plan to explain the obtained results with some brief indication of how to construct such solutions. The results are mostly joint work with Lami Kim and Salvatore Stuvard.
