Wave Glider in the News

The article details the work carried out by Mitarai and McWilliams in there study of Typhoon Danas using the Wave Glider, which travelled to the heart f the typhoon in order to collect data on the atmospheric and oceanographic conditions.

The results of the typhoon study were published in Geophysical Research Letters where the authors provide "a newer, more complete view of actual atmosphere-ocean interactions in a typhoon."
