[Thursday, Topology, and Tea] Topological gravity and intersection theory by Prof. Shinobu Hikami (OIST)
This is a seminar by Topology and Geometry of Manifolds Unit, occasionally on Thursday. It will be followed by tea after the semiar at the unit space.
Abstract: Topological gravity, defined on Riemann surface or Teichmuller space with handles and holes, has recently interesting developments. The intersection numbers on the moduli space for p-spin curve are evaluated with handles and holes. Some problems of a super Riemann surface are discussed.

OIST Mini Symposium "Holographic Tensors"
OIST Mini Symposium | Scientific sessions are open to all OIST members | For non-OIST members: Please contact the organizers for information on how to participate.
Mini-symposium: "Holographic Tensors"
Aim: To provide an opportunity for discussion of recent discovered tensor field theory. It has been known that matrix model can describe interesting physical phenomena including gravity, gauge fields, but it is difficult to solve. Recent development of newly proposed tensor model can provide explicit solutions for interesting phenomena including black hole and gravity and so called SYK model.
