Coloquium: "Functional methods in QFT and renormalization, part IV" by Dr. Riccardo Martini

After discussing the idea behind the renormalization flow as formulated in the FRG framework, we introduce the regulator functional that is at the hart of the regularization procedure. Then, we move on to discussing its properties and how it allows us to define regularized version of the functionals of quantum field theory. A modified Legendre transform is introduced and the consequent regularized n-point functions are analyzed.
