The Cultural Event Series (CluES): England, presented by OISTers from England, will take place on Saturday, November 14, at the Conference Center (Main Campus), beginning at 3:00 PM and adult-only part continuing in Lab0 from around 6:30 PM .
Join us for an afternoon and evening of culture, music, comedy, tea, and celebration. Don't miss this opportunity to experience English traditions and learn more about England's rich history and culture and England-inspired drinks prepared by Lab0!
Program
3:00 PM: Rugby lesson and English comedy screening
4:00 PM: Interactive lecture on England: History, Culture, and Traditions
5:00 PM: Afternoon tea and English comedy screening
Food tasting included, plus a sparkling surprise!
--->> moving to Lab0 for adult-only part
6:30 PM: English Slang Contest (adults only)
7:00 PM: Interactive lecture on Club Music followed by a social gathering
All members of the OIST community, along with their relatives, children, and friends, are warmly welcome. Admission is free, although voluntary donations to help cover event costs are greatly appreciated.
