Talk from invited guest Dr. Ilya Kolmanovsky: “AI and I” How people collaborate with AI -- evolutionary perspective
Date
Thursday, October 23, 2025 - 14:00 to 15:00
Location
B250
Description
Many of us use the ai at work or in everyday life. We think about it as a tool. But unbeknownst to us, our brain is constantly making decisions and establishing relationships with ai as if it were an agent. It is a surprisingly natural thing for us to live and work together with a deux ex machina, which does not explain to us any of its reasons, but simply gets things done. Brain science knows quite a bit about how our brain collaborates – and focusing on the nooks and crannies of it might make the ai more useful and less dangerous to us.
