Kazuaki Iwabuchi, PhD
Research Manager
I manage data collection and other research-related tasks. My area of expertise is comparative education pedagogy. I have done field research on Indonesian middle schools, environmental education in New York City, and the Japanese education system. I received my Ph.D. in Education from Columbia University in 2022.

Workshop Facilitator | Instructor
I am a third year Business Administration major at International Christian University. I joined SKY Labo as a student in 2019 and have served as a design coach since 2020. I am interested in the fashion industry and have worked for CHANEL and LVMH. I am currently working as a student ambassador for INSIDE LVMH.
Yuna Fujii
Workshop Facilitator | Assistant Instructor
I joined SKY Labo as a student in 2022. I used to live in California for three years and in New York thereafter. I graduated high school in New York in June, 2022, and will be majoring in law at Keio University from 2023. I enjoyed learning Java and Python during my high school years.

I joined SKY Labo as a student in 2017 and served as a design ambassador in 2021. I love coaching chamber music ensembles! In high school, I was a member of the robotics team, serving as a Build Co-Lead. I will attend Harvard University in 2023 after taking a gap year.

【Transportation to OIST】
Please make your own transportation arrangements to OIST during the workshop.
We will contact participants from remote islands for separate arrangement.
【COVID-19 related information】
Please take your temperature at home on the day of the workshop. Please refrain from participating in the workshop if you have fever (37.5 degrees celcius or higher), respiratory symptoms such as coughing, fatigue, sore throat, taste symptoms, or any other health problems. Please wear a mask at all times during the workshop.
Participation Fee
There is no charge for participation fee. Lunch will also be provided during the workshop.
For participants from remote islands, the following will be provided,
- Round trip airfare from the nearest airport to Naha Airport
- Transportation arrangement during the workshop
- Accommodation
